Golf

Designed by architect Donald Ross in 1924 and renovated by Ron Garl in 1999, the Bradenton Country Club’s 18-hole course presents a challenge for golfers of all ages and abilities.  Each hole is unique with bunkers, natural water features, and design that follow the natural contours of the land.  There are no interior roads or homes within the course to blight the golfer’s view or concentration.

Our golf course is the most beautiful and challenging in the area.  It features beautifully manicured fairways with undulating greens of tift eagle.  The greens are a mixture of tift eagle Bermuda which provides smooth and firm putting surfaces that roll to an average stimp meter speed of 10 to 10.5.

The driving range includes target greens for practicing your skills.  Private lessons and clinics are available from our professional golf staff.

Since our membership is capped, tee times are always available.  You are free to enjoy a private and uncrowded round of golf – the way the game was meant to be played.

Our pro shop, staffed by four golf professionals, has everything you need to enjoy the game.  In addition to a large selection of golf products and professional custom club fitting, there are clinics for those just learning and an excellent program to promote junior golf.
